LADA stands for Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults.  It is a form of type 1 (formerly called juvenille) diabetes.  LADA often progresses much slower than type 1, but the treatment is usually the same (insulin).

I use Novolog insulin in an Omnipod insulin pump.  I also use a DexCom Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM).  I can’t imagine what my life would be like without them.

As for the “dee da,” well, I was just looking for a catchy title.
