The Safeway in Mt. Airy carries the bison, also BJ's in Westminster usually has it. I'd guess that the Safeway in Eldersburg would have it as well, it's a relatively nice store.

Enjoy the time off .. and the turkey, stay well & be happy!

Thanks, Laura! I've been strongly considering the bison thing, but I don't know where to get it. Any suggestions?

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family! I'm looking forward to a few days off from work.

Hi Shannon!

Congrats on the first 6! I'm glad to hear you're doing well with the WW program. I agree that having lost a bit helps in almost every way imaginable ... except that it does leave you with a "smaller margin for error" thus increasing the liklihood of having some lows (She's absolutely right on that one, Mom).

Anyway, here's to a lovely Turkey Day with reasonable #'s and another 6 pounds!

Lean beef does make a great burger, and bison is much leaner than beef and will also cut calories/fats without cutting taste if you don't mind paying a bit more $ for it. It can be a little dryer, though so I frequently mix in a little low-carb caesar dressing to moisten it up a bit.

Here's to getting to pregnant, fat & happy!

Take care,
L.
